The 2025 NFL Draft is still two days away, but festivities are already in full force in Green Bay to celebrate the historic event.
Here's a look at what's happening in and around Green Bay Tuesday, April 22, for the NFL draft.
When/where: 11 a.m.-9 p.m. April 22 at 610 S. Broadway, Green Bay
What's happening: The ColorBold Business Association is hosting a five-day family-friendly celebration of culture, food and entertainment featuring small business owners. The food truck alley on S. Broadway will feature diverse cuisine from several food vendors including soul food, tacos, international bites and sweet treats. The event will continue through April 26 and feature the Draft End Zone Market April 25.
When/where: 9-10 a.m. April 22 at West De Pere Middle School, 1177 S. Ninth St., De Pere
What's happening: The NFL hosts a panel discussion with panelists from the league and students from Green Bay and across the country who have participated in Character Playbook, a series of online courses funded by the NFL Foundation intended to build stronger communities by teaching students the skills to form healthy relationships and protect their mental health. Panelists will discuss the themes in the Understanding Mental Wellness course and students will participate in activities surrounding the theme "Lifting Each Other Up."
When/where: 9-10 a.m. April 22 at Valley View Elementary School, 2200 True Lane, Ashwaubenon
What's happening: Students, educators, partners, NFL greats and local leaders come together to spotlight GENYOUth's mission to end student hunger and promote physical activity. Through proceeds from the Taste of the Draft Gala April 23, 90 Wisconsin schools will receive new meal equipment and NFL FLAG-In-School kits to expand opportunities for students to be well-nourished and active.
When/where: noon-1 p.m. April 22 at Bomier Boat Launch, 700 Fox River Drive, De Pere
What's happening: In celebration of Earth Day, join NFL Green, Verizon and the Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance, which works to protect and restore the Fox-Wolf River basin waters, to clean up the Fox River Trail. The event comes ahead of the main Fox-Wolf Watershed Cleanup on May 3, one of the largest volunteer-led environmental efforts in the state.
When/where: 1-3 p.m. April 22 at Whitney Park, 800 Main St., Green Bay
What's happening: The annual Trash Bash hosted by Discover Green Bay will focus on the Downtown and Olde Main Street Districts. Meet volunteers at Whitney Park at 1 p.m. to receive your assigned zone and cleaning supplies and help keep the community looking its best ahead of the NFL draft.
When/where: 5-7 p.m. April 22 at New Community Shelter, 301 Mather St., Green Bay
What's happening: The NFL and Little Caesars Love Kitchen aim to reach 300-400 community members and families with a day of food, activities and football. New Community Shelter offers temporary housing, transitional living and meals to the community.
