If I ever hear anyone(not here specifically) say that losing in week 1 is no big deal again I'm going to slap them. None of our other 4 losses are as huge as the week 1 loss to the Lambs especially considering we had the lead in that game.

Up 11 on the road with 7 minutes to go?

That was HUGE! An epic meltdown.

And it showed our defense needs a good coverage safety to help out with those TE coverages. That is the only real weakness on this team.

All teams have those kind of close losses!! Quit living in the past! Both the Offense and Defense were still learning the scheme and growing as a team.

I can live with that loss. It was our first game with 11 new starters and a whole new coaching staff. We can finish 11-5 and still have a chance at the playoffs. If we miss out, it was still a great season and if we make it, every team on the way to the SB will be afraid of us.

Amen, if that loss was part of the price of installing a regime that finally wins on a consistent basis, then it was one of the best deals we've ever been given. Coulda, should woulda, let's move on.

St Louis and Philly hurt

at the same time -- to have to win 12 games to assure a wildcard spot is crazy. Its just not a normal year

With Seattle and SF in this division it's not going to be a normal year for awhile those guys are guilt to be good for a long time.

yeah -- but just look in the AFC

Denv and KC have great records, but if SD hit 10 wins, they would be in the playoffs

Every team loses games they probably should have won. Most years the Cards have at least 3.
I bet there is somebody posting right now about how the loss yesterday is going to come back on the Seahawks. If they had won they could have rested key players next week and started getting ready for the playoffs.

Seattle is fortunate to have Wilson on a rookie contract. Once they have to pay him elite QB market value they will come back down to earth.

I would feel worse if we lost that game in week 11. This is not the same team it was back then. We kind of thought the team we saw in week 1 was a preview of what we were going to go thru all year long.

This program is officially turned around. Re-sign a few key players, get the injured players back and we'll have a year under our belt with this offense.

Things look so much better today than they did last year at this time.

Do you have any proof that shows as soon as you pay a QB that kind of many thats the reason they fall off the map? Not saying its not the case but guys like Rodgers brady and manning don't seem to follow that rule of thumb?
