Louisville women's basketball and Nebraska are set to play each other to start March Madness. The two programs have never played each other in the postseason and will do with Louisville earning the 7 seed and Nebraska earning the 10 seed. It's the second time in three years that the Cardinals will start their tournament journey in Texas after taking down Texas, the fourth seed, in Austin during the Round of 32 in 2023.

The Cardinals' upperclassmen still have a sour taste in their mouths from losing in the first round of last year's NCAA Tournament, the first time it's happened in program history.
