BATON ROUGE – LSU baseball has won 15 straight games, the second longest active win streak in college baseball.

The owners of the longest mark is Southeastern Conference foe Tennessee, who leap-frogged the Tigers in the D1 Baseball poll for No. 1 this week. Despite entering last week No. 1, apparently the sweep at home of Missouri, the league's worst team, for LSU (20-1) than the Volunteers sweep at home of Florida.

LSU and Tennessee will lock horns later this season to determine who's better but next up for Jay Johnson's club is New Orleans (11-7) at Alex Box Stadium Tuesday night (6:30 p.m., SEC Network+).
