LSU women's basketball's Big Three earned All-American recognition from the AP on Wednesday.
Aneesah Morrow headlines the group on the second team while Flau'Jae Johnson and Mikaylah Williams landed on the third team and honorable mention lists, respectively.
The second-team nod is the second All-American award for Morrow in her career after being an honorable mention last season. The senior forward ranks first in the country with 13.6 rebounds per game and 27 double-doubles. She left her name in the record books this year, becoming the second Division I player to surpass 100 double-doubles and pulling into fourth place all-time with 1,665 career rebounds.
Morrow is also one of eight Division I players in history with over 2,500 points and 1,500 rebounds in a career.
Johnson and Williams were tabbed All-Americans for the first time in their careers. A perimeter threat on both ends of the court, Johnson is the team's leading scorer with 18.9 points per game. She has 15 games with 20+ points and five double-doubles this year. The junior guard is consistently tasked with defending the opposition's top guard.
A sophomore do-it-all player, Williams handles the ball and plays inside for head coach Kim Mulkey. She averages 17.2 points per game following an SEC Freshman of the Year campaign. This season, Williams has 11 games with 20+ points and two with a least 30 points along with over 100 assists.
