Luis Severino is now an Athletics pitcher after getting the biggest contract in franchise history.

But, hey, maybe the pitcher is worth all that money, right? He pitched well for the New York Mets last year, and on Opening Day 2025, he threw six innings and gave up no runs and just three hits with four walks.

But let's talk about this filthy pitch, a sweeper that starts outside to Seattle Mariners slugger Rowdy Tellez and comes darting back over the outside corner for strike three. It apparently had over two feet of break! It's no wonder Severino was so fired up at this one.
