Lynx star Augustus out for season (AP)

Minnesota Lynx star Seimone Augustus will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL in her left knee. Augustus was leading the Lynx with 21 points per game, third-best in the WNBA. The team says she will have surgery. Augustus was injured in the second quarter Wednesday in the loss at Phoenix. The Lynx have won four of their first six games, good for second place in the Western Conference.
