I was discussing the top 5 TV shows (by number of episodes produced) that were movies first; was a very difficult list to come up with. Of course, M*A*S*H* was #1. I have the whole series in the Medical Kit box. Pretty cool.

Loved watching it as a kid - in my room on a small black and white TV. Man, I am old. LOL

The show was great it's first few seasons but then Alda made the series more dramatic and to me it became preachy and lost it's charm. It was still a great show but it was better when it was a comedy/drama instead of a drama that had some comedy. I also think that Max Klinger was one of the greatest TV characters of all time.

The movie was fantastic..... and the TV series took fantastic and ran with it.

Probably the best 30 minute show ever.
