My pre-Combine Cardinals Mock Draft. In this mock I have the Cardinals trading the #33 overall pick to Tampa for the #39 and #101 overall picks.

#1: Nick Bosa - OLB/DE Ohio St.

This is a no brainer. No QB is worth a team moving up for in this draft. So the Cardinals snag the best player in the draft and pair Bosa with Chandler Jones.

#39 (From Tampa): Deebo Samuel - WR - S. Carolina

Anquan Boldin 2.0 returns to the valley. Samuel is a stocky WR who has great balance and is difficult to bring down. He has no problem getting off the line with bump coverage. He was one of the standouts at the Senior Bowl.​

#65: Riley Riddley - WR - Georgia

The Cardinals continue to add weapons for Rosen. Riley is the brother to last years 1st round WR Calvin Riddley. Riley would have benefited from staying in school another year where he could have been a 1st rounder like his brother. Busted for being caught with Pot so there is a risk associated with drafting him.​

#96: Tytus Howard - OT - Alabama St.

The Cardinals love their small school prospects. Howard had a strong showing at the Senior Bowl and the Cardinals just can't resist drafting those players who no one has heard of.​

#101 (From Tampa): Anthony Nelson - DE - Iowa

A 3-4 DE with great hand placement and strong against the run. High motor type of player with great length and frame.

#129: Darrell Henderson - RB - Memphis

Henderson is built low to the ground and is difficult to tackle. He doesn't dance around an stays North/South with his running.​

Huge space eater who can help keep Corey Peters fresh.​

#166: (From Tampa for BA): Malcom Pridgeon - G - Ohio State

Worth a late round pick and could be a solid starter in a few years.​

Ridley made the smart decision to come out honestly. Next years WR class is super top heavy & he wouldn’t have gotten better production in that Georgia offense.

Deebo doesn’t remind me of Boldin at all, tbh.

Don’t think we go RB that early.

I like to see others mocks to get an idea of players they like and fit our system. Not so much where they go or the group as a whole because that's impossible at this point. I'm a fan of most of the guys you chose. Nice work!

I've said it before, Deebo is WR built like a RB. Similar to Percy Harvin, but Deebo is a better overall receiver.

I don't mind drafting two receivers...hopefully it would work out like Emmanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown. Two dogs one bone.

WR are great and nice but we have no foundation. That needs to come first. Don’t matter who our WR are if Rosen is laying on his back or hurt because we can’t protect him.

Teams routinely find starting LBs and TEs in the midrounds. The Cardinals also suck at finding OL. It's weird how some scouting staffs just seem to suck at evaluating certain positions.

The good thing about drafting two is that you have two cost controlled WRs. That can be an expensive position to fill with FAs.

The Cards currently have 2 WRs on the roster who are NFL caliber and one of them is going to retire possibly within a year. KK wants to run the air raid offense which means he needs more than 2 WRs on the roster. The Cardinals will need to carry 5-6 WRs on the roster. JJ Nelson is a free agent and the Cardinals won't bring him back. Is Chad Williams going to make the leap this year? I doubt it.

It's time to give Rosen several weapons to grow with who can learn from Fitz for at least a year. WR is currently the weakest position on the team.

Another thing is that KK will be able to hand pick the type of WR's he like for his scheme. I would rather stock up on WR in the draft than pay way too much money for the avg at best in free agency.

That is a good thought MCD.Still the Cards must improve the O-Line,D-Line,LB.With the signings of Alford CB,Clay TE the Cards could get by at CB and TE although IMHO a young TE needs to be drafted.Brooks Reed can help at LB but still needs upgrading.DLine needs more real talent( Bosa at #1 helps that a lot but Nkemdiche is a waste of space,Pierre a decent backup as is Malveaux.Adding solid depth is needed.As for the OLINE Cards have lots of bodies but really how much starting quality guys?Colby Gossett showed enough to keep around at OG but if you have a chance at Lindstrom,Risner or McGovern for OG why not pick one?

some of you guys seem to think this is a good draft for oline...it isnt... the elite talent just isnt there.
getting 2 WR's isnt a bad idea. this draft isnt as stacked at the top for WR like next year will be but it is very stacked with 2nd and 3rd round guys who can make a solid impact.
I would like to see one oline drafted at least...between rounds two and five...a solid guard or developmental RT can be found there.

I think the Cardinals have to walk away with a young OL in this draft. At least one.

I think the line looks like this right now:

LT Humphries
LG (Pugh?)
C Cole
RG Pugh
RT Kunningham? Resign Barksdale?

Top back ups: C Shipley (coming off injury), T Wetzel (restricted FA)

I would LOVE to replace Humphries, but I think the Cardinals roll with him at least one more year. Maybe Kunningham could become the LTOTF?

From looking at the current roster, a guard and tackle are needed. I think you go free agency for the tackle and guard, but draft a young prospect who can start soon at one of those positions early and one later in the draft.

Let’s say we sign a tyrell Williams and then draft the Westley( sp) kid? Williams will cost us money but he’s only 26 years old he could be the big wr that moves into Fitz’s role. We also don’t know if this staffs like the wr’s Currently on the roster. So much of this depends on what we do in free agency.
