Next banner should say "triggered"
That's why you said it in the thread before? Is the goal to feel self validated? I have a message! I deserves to be heard! I have a right to speak my mind!
or is the goal to have your banner in the stadium?
I could've told you from 10,000 miles away that banner would be shot down. Go ahead and write any message you want on it and display it proudly from the parking lot.
Or you can choose something the team will approve, and hang it in the stadium.
MadJack is back and has been monitoring all of your posts this week. I appreciate the passion on both sides of the debate whether the banner message (NO FIX IT, NO BISCUIT) is appropriate.
I felt it was and not overly negative especially in light of past messages. However, the Cardinals organization felt differently and notified me just hours before kickoff Sunday.
Consequently, I did not have time to modify it to their satisfaction. This is unfortunate as I would have immediatly accommodated their request and the banner would have hung proudly as it has since 1995.
Bottom line is that the Cardinals allow me the privilege and know that I would never jeopardize this honor. My greatest challenge is to speak for the fans while trying to maintain a balance of positivity and motivation.
Obviously, last weeks banner message was deemed inappropriate which is unfortunate. However, the last thing I want to do here is inflame the controversy and risk damaging my relationship with the Cardinals.
So....I am pleading to all of you to please let this go and to not escalate further. Lessons learned folks and really...no...big...deal.
Thanks for your understanding.
MadJack.
At that point I would have taken off the "No fix it, no biscuit" message and would have displayed the banner blank; i.e. - without a message!MadJack is back and has been monitoring all of your posts this week. It's not free speech. The fine print on the back of event tickets is basically a contract. Is hanging a banner that important? I would've told them - 'see ya' and never hang another one. But that's just me, lol
Now they're impinging my right to free speech.

Same with me. It's fun when you have the freedom to come up with banners on your own or from suggestions by other fans. The team should know and trust Madjack by now but this stunt this past weekend SUCKS. Seriously, they need to know that this decision upset people. Madjack - don't roll over and take their censorship so lightly. Now you'll just be the brown-noser who does positive signs to please the team just so it can be hung. #neuteredbytheteam
You guys are being ridiculous. Yes, it SUCKS the team made this choice but we all love the banner and I want to see them up u til MJ decides to hang 'em up... Pun completely intended.
yeah...... but it has always been a fan expression... if they are not going to let the fans express opinions on the banners they may as well make them themselves.
