Mike James was a nice surprise for a few games but it's obvious now why he is not an NBA player. He thinks of himself as an Iverson type.

I'd send him to the G league or send him packing after that

To some players, throwing up a shot in the final few seconds when the game is clearly out of reach, is just stat padding and in poor form. This is especially true when the defense has stopped playing. I would think this is especially true in Europe. In this case, no one was making an effort against Bender, the game was way out of reach, it would have been stat padding.

Bender should have dribbled the game out when he decided not to shoot it. The ball tossing was nothing major. It was probably some pent-up frustration from the game.

James should have not been demanding Bender shoot the ball in the closing seconds when the game was over.
