Regardless of how bold or bland the on-track action may be, Clint Bowyer feels a NASCAR race is well worth experiencing. “People come to a track, throw down, and have a damn good time,” the veteran driver said. “There’s parties, concerts. It’s fun. If they come and camp for a weekend, I guarantee you they come back.” The flock of diehards who parked RVs at New Hampshire Motor Speedway beginning last Saturday, a week in advance of NASCAR’s annual summer plunge into the Laconia region, may keep unfurling their setups for years to come.
