I went BPA with the pick: Kadeem Carey, University of Northern Mexico in Tucson.

I think he's a 1400 yard rusher, next year.

This. Carey, with a dose of Ellington and some OL help would give us a perty derned good offense.

Since we didn't take a DL for the first pick (Hageman, mtl) then we take Docketts replacement now.

Dominique Easley - UFla. Easy pick for me.

I like Bucannon alot. He is a big kid who has great eyes upfield, can read QB's eyes and can also lay a hit. I think his tackling technique needs work for the NFL but has good coverage skills and can also get after the passer. I would be very happy with that at 52

Deone Buchannon! One of my favorite prospects in the draft. Washington State's defense was not very good, but opposing offenses always had to plan for this guy. The best hitting defensive back in the PAC-12 and one of the best in the country. Reminds me of Adrian Wilson, just a little bit smaller and better in coverage.

After Buchannon, I would prefer to trade down or pick Kadeem Carey or Cyril Richardson.

Hopefully my Deone Bucannon campaign infects further all the way up to Cards HQ

He IS our SS of the future, our collective belief will make this happen.
