Man Utd ‘ready’ to launch £38m bid for ‘strong massive’ striker destined for EPL move
Manchester United could reportedly be embroiled in a thrilling race for the services of Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
The Red Devils’ desire to sign a new centre-forward is no longer a secret, especially with Rasmus Hojlund struggling to deliver in front of goal. The Dane has only managed to muster three goals in the Premier League this season.
These appalling stats are fueling rumours of an inevitable summer exit, but the club is reportedly keen to collect a relatively high figure, setting their asking price at €65 million.
With Hojlund potentially leaving Carrington, it remains to be seen which bomber will be heading in the opposite direction. United are currently being linked with a plethora of candidates for the role.
Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres are possibly on top of every fan’s wishlist, but they could prove too pricey for INEOS at this stage. On the other hand, Liam Delap represents a more affordable alternative, as Ipswich’s imminent relegation will drop the value of his release clause to £30 million.
Nevertheless, other names continue to pop up in the news, including Vlahovic who is seemingly on his way out of Juventus.

The Serbian striker endured a difficult campaign under Thiago Motta, but is beginning to show improvement with Igor Tudor taking charge.
However, the 25-year-old’s contract will expire in 2026, so the Bianconeri will be determined to sell him to avoid the risk of losing his services for free a year later.
According to TuttoJuve, Man Utd are one of four Premier League clubs ‘ready’ to make a move for the ‘strong, massive’ bomber. His other English suitors are Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle.
The Italian source reveals that Vlahovic and his entourage are asking for a yearly salary of £8.5 million, which is almost identical to his current Juventus salary.
The report adds that the bidding war could raise the player’s asking price to £38 million, which is considered a hefty fee for a player whose contract will expire in a year.
While it appears that Vlahovic is destined to play in the Premier League at some point, his sizable price tag and inconsistent displays render him a risky bet for an already struggling club like Man Utd.
The Reds would arguably be better off signing someone like Osimhen who can be a more guaranteed investment, even if it means spending a larger sum.
