Mao, didn't you say you were going to a Husker game this season?

I have never been to a game in Lincoln but I do have an awesome Husker Nation story that always brings good thoughts.

1986 I think...Sept) I was in college in IL and the guy in the room next door had some tix to the Illinois v Nebraska game in Champaign. So four of us hopped in a car and drove to the game. We ended up parking in a field of some sort and began walking to the stadium and we walked past rows and rows of Husker fans in the RV's. We were all decked out in U of I gear but these fans were so hospitable. Seemed like every 3rd Husker RV we passed they were shoving food and drinks in our hands and inviting us to come shoot the breeze for awhile. We ate so much food and drank alot.

I don't remember what the score of that game even was (I think it was like 56-0 Husker win) but afterwards it was the same thing. Husker fans just being gracious people hooking us up with food and drink.
