OFFSEASON TRAINING
Unless we fail to show up to our own stadium - we're gonna get promoted to OAA next season.
Regardless what happens in the playoffs we are on course to have the stadium 90% complete leaving just the 300 Level Home Sideline (301-309, 344-352) and 300 Level Visitor Sideline (318-335) for completion in season 9.
This is our Current Fan Support - its really good. Low Income:100 High Income: 100 Med.Income: 83.
I also like to introduce this:
This game can eat up quite a bit of time and just like any good organization - Communication is the key.
I'm gonna be in this game fer the long haul so there shouldn't be any question about team stability.
However - the tricky part is figure out ways to keep improving the teams performance on the field as well as it's longevity...while balancing our own "real world" life.
On this team Superspck is the Offense Coordinator and bruser23 is the Season 9 Defensive coordinator. Merlin528 will be our DC consultant to help out on Def. AI evaluations/testing and team scouting analysis.
I will not only be just the owner - but more the Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager to check up on game tactics, finances, player builds, "issues", etc.
This season I've observed quite a few successful teams really going at it in their development to secure their long term outlook...if we want to be consistent playoff contenders then we need to match up.
We need to think about player development and what our resources are.
I have asked AsshAts to help us develop a S8 build plan to effectively channel our strengths in competing against the higher skill level clubs.
We are very fortunate to have someone like AsshAts to help us on developing the plan. His credentials is based on being the DE on the West Scranton Invaders.
WSI is currently the No. 1 ranked team in all of GLB: http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=1950088
They didn't get to that spot on talent alone - they had a plan during the offseason and as a team followed that plan.
While we all like boosting before the season starts - I'm instructing folks on the Maori that before you boost next season to list yer attributes on this thread to help us develop a player specific build plan...then follow the plan accordingly.
I'm also asking all agents to post their player builds in this thread so we can begin the evaluation process.
Also please give us info on what position you are building your player for (i.e. MLB, OLBer, etc.).

In essence we are modeling ourselves as the Green Bay Packers with the community having a say.MAORI MISSION STATEMENT
This is the basic commitment we make to you, the player:
1) If you have a problem with your contract, send a PM and we will take care of it. It only helps the team if you have the latest and greatest equipment, etc. If you level up and you don't have the cash to get the upgrade, we will get you that money. If we are unable to meet your NEEDS, we will facilitate a trade. If that isn't possible, you will be released - no hard feelings.
2) We will listen to your input on game planning, player builds, strategies, and scouting. This is usually the most fun part of the game and you deserve to share in that.
3) We will remain active. I will do my best to check on things at least once a day and I will usually spend time looking for players, checking the team forum, and looking at our opponents.
4) You will get playing time. Not everyone can start obviously, but you will get playing time. The only way you will ever be removed from the depth chart is if you become inactive or you are disruptive on the boards or chat room. Notice I said on the boards and chat room. In a PM (to me and no one else) you can say what you want, but keep that stuff off of the boards.
5) There will be a team first mentality. I have quite a few players on the team - If we can sign a better player, my player will provide depth. Our goal is to win. This is a team first organization, committed to winning a championship.
Your commitment to us:
1) You will remain active. You will help scout, game plan, and strategize. If you are going on vacation, just shoot a PM out and let us know. We can make adjustments accordingly.
2) You will adjust your player strategy to fit with the team. When we come up with a plan, we need to all be on the same page.
3) You will keep your stats viewable to the team. Do not allow others outside the team to view your stats as it gives them an advantage in scouting. It is important that the team can see your stats so that we may plan a strategy according to your strengths while protecting your weaknesses.
4) You will not air dirty laundry in a public or team forum. As I mentioned earlier, feel free to talk to me. I will handle things and you will see, I am quite fair. I will not let you rot on the bench or suffer because you don't have money. I will do what is best for the team, and that includes you the player.
