Folks we need some help on scouting our opponents builds before game time.
Knowing upcoming opponents builds will give us some insight into what areas to exploit (i.e. weak DE, slow OT, etc.)

It's not hard and simple to do, easy to repeat, and not terribly time consuming.

Here is an example of a scouting thread:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=1744576

Here is a list of teams and folks I assigned to scout:

"I'll take all games we've won already" ;)

I can probably handle the Skillets (1/14), Warriors (1/20) and maybe one of the close ones, if we wanna leave one that matters up to me :)

12/31 Quick Punters Notes:

Offensive CPU players:14
Defensive CPU players: 14

In other words, lots of CPU's means advantage.

TE's got an open build and is really more a receiver then a blocker (str/blck sub 30).

Of course, I'll take another look as we get film on them and see how many roster changes they've made, but so far I think we've got an advantage in this game.

QB Tim Tebow has:

stam 34
throw 55
vis 53
conf 31

2 in each pocket passer tree

Offense and Defense have lots of low level players.
ST'ers are lvl 4 and 5.

Dammit, this is Luke's scouting.

Aw well. He can scout too.

2 points in every part of his skill tree.

All the open builds are sub open 20.

DT Train has all major skills in the 30's (approaching 40's). Vision is low.

Three LB's open:
All have sub 35 str, Simon 26.
Markuza has 37 spd
Belk has NO points in special abilities and no real vision of confidence.

SS is open but looks pretty good.

No one on the team is a lvl 5.

Our team is mostly around level 30.

I'm not scouting crap.

Later I will.

Their RT is kinda slow IMO but has strength of 89 (should be suseptible to speed rushers. http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=622017

The LT has a strength of 76 with speed of 31 and agility 52 Should also be suseptible to speed rushers IMO. http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=563752

The LG has simliar build to the LT.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=602593

LDE Admas seems to be well rounded: Speed and agility in the high to low 60's http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=807453

Their CB's and FS are all VERY fast they are all in the 80's with speed and in the 50's with agility Vision is good too ranging from 50 to 60's. IMO that is the strength of their Defense. But I Cant see a majority of their players who have all attributes hidden.

Folks - jump on your scouting assignments before they close their builds.

Your info - helps us exploit things.

Cake walk, all (meaningful) profiles are closed, but they only have 3 human players > lvl 10

lvl 28 QB
lvl 19 FB
lvl 26 LB

All of their backups and 90+% of their defense are lvl 1 players

Should be a fun game to play with any settings we're curious about.

Almost as bad as the Skillets above, avg defensive starter is lvl 6, most higher level players are CPU

Offense has a lvl 20 tackle and center, one level 17 wr
Defense - only human player over lvl 6 is the SS, lvl 21

Another game for testing...

Not many open builds on this team. Their starting LT has decent strength/blocking but is very very slow. Yurazz will have a field day with him. Half of their o-line is inactive also.

Their #1/#2 FS have speed of 60/53 with nothing else standing out much. Their #2 SS has speed of 73 also. They do have a well rounded #3 CB, 55+ speed/agility/vision attributes.

Their DTs are pretty low and one doesn't even have equipment. Have fun Eraldo Coil.

Their #3 WR is a burner with speed of 73+.

Not many open builds. Their #1 FB has inefficiently assigned his equipment. Their starting DT has a decent build going but has zero stamina and won't make a difference. Their #1 SS is very avg.

SCOUTING REPORT

We got a game in 10 days against these guys...so far here are their rankings:

OFFENSE
Overall: 12th
Passing: 7th
Rushing: 10th

DEFENSE
Overall: 4th
Passing: 6th
Rushing: 2nd

l
ooking at game film here are some comments:

they have a pair of DE's
LDE Donald Hazlett (Lv. 37) RDE Donnie Runstopper (Lv. 35) that are really good

3wr/Singleback:
They play a 4.2.5 defense - notice they keep their LB's playing rover. So forget WR screen passing.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3786278
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3790011

HB slam strongside is a good play:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3787724

to the weakside is not:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3794833

On passing plays we need the TE to block:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3786890

HB outside run's may be a problem: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3786318
A guard at TE might be enough for our HB's to break around the corner.

Strong I Run: neutralizes the DE's.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3786408

5wr set: [GOOD OPTION]
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3786804

I don't recommend the all streak - but I think we can use more 5 WR set slant patterns...look at the protection and time: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3786961
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3787566
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3787617
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3789762
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3789918
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3794740

HB Screen:
Their LDE is too quick - he'll disrupt it.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3786428

I formation - weakside run
to the outside isn't gonna work on these guys:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3786910
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3789712

Shotgun:
We need the TE or HB to block -http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3790791

Good protection - but all wideouts covered: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326742&pbp_id=3791097

Summary:

I feel we can powerrun up the gut on these guys and use the 5 WR screen as a supplement to keep things going.

The Kiribati Death Traders are the second best team in our league - we'll probably be playing them again in the playoffs. If we beat these guys then our odds in securing homefield advantage throughout the playoffs increases quite a bit.

The GLB scouting is very misleading they have a pair of DE's and a solid pair of DT's. They have a shutdown corner and good coverage guys.

Their DC is the same one that beat us in the playoffs last season - so he'll know how to scout us.

I'm not worried about their offense - their a power running team and our DT's will slow them down.

However - I recommend to +5 bonus boost on these guys.

Boosting Plan

Offensive line:
+5 Agility (handle speed rushers)
QB: +5 Vision
HB: +5 Speed
FB: +5 Blocking
WR/TE: +5 Speed

Defense: +5 Speed

NT/DT: +5 agility

Suva Tsunami:

They dont have a single player that has their attributes open for viewing(smart). Their highest level player is a level 28. So we should have a distinct advantage with much higher builds across the board.

Their starting/Back-up DE's so far this season have a whopping 1 sack between the four of them. Their 3 DT's have 4 for a total of 5 sacks on the season. Seems to me that they have an extremely weak pass rush and if you ever wanted a game to try out soem thing in the pass game this might be the one to do it. Their DB's have a total of 5 Int's on the season which actually seems pretty good to me considering tehir lack of a pass rush.

This just screams Like a game that we should win about 70-20 IMHO. Shouldnt be much of a problem.

Oh Their starting running back is averaging a WHOPPING 13.7 per carry this season. We need to drop him back down to earth IMHO.

Update scouting report:

Shotgun - 5wr set:
lvl 34 WR really worked over their MLB:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326835&pbp_id=5312965
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326835&pbp_id=5310280

A lvl 29 WR at WR5 spot:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326835&pbp_id=5311590

Shotgun:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326730&pbp_id=6085588

3wr set - hb pass
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=326730&pbp_id=6093845

Wht do you think superspck...Keep Colton at the No.4 WR slot and put joker at No. 5?

Tommorow - we'll be able to put our new WR on the depth chart.
