Toronto owns the #11(NYK) and #26 pick.

Actually they own the least favorable pick between Denvers pick (#7) and NYK (#11).

Get on the case McDonough. That #11 pick sounds about right, the #26 pick way too little.

Morris, Tucker, #28
for
Patterson, Johnson, #11

Saw that. Tucker and Morris for 11th sounds a bit low to me, is it unrealistic to think we can get both picks?

I don't think so. If we can take back non-rotation salaries so that the trade is not disruptive, it would only make sense for them to give up the picks. I don't want any player that we would want to keep from the Raptors. Just picks only.

Toronto is trying to compete now. Tucker and Kieff would make them much more effective in a series against Cleveland. Teams that are trying to compete now have to pay a premium. That just the law of sports trades, especially mid-season trades. The teams that can afford to wait reap the benefits.

What if:

1. Last night's performance by Kieff wasn't about Jeff getting fired but rather an audition for the Raptors.
2. Jeff got fired because he balked at giving Kieff prime minutes and running an offense through Kieff just for marketing purposes.
3. EW's comments about Kieff being the focus of the offense going forward were intended to move the needle a little with Toronto.
4. Rich Paul was here to try to figure out a way to keep Kieff out of Toronto.

We all know that Kieff is going to play very well wherever he goes. In the end, Toronto would not regret making such a trade. In fact, their fans will eventually crow about winning it.

I've read on Hoopshype OKC may have some interest in Tucker and mentioned McGary as a potential trade piece. I've always had an interest in McGary as he has some serious skills for a big man. The biggest knock on him was he was limited athletically, unpolished and had a questionable work ethic. I haven't heard of any issues with OKC but with Len & Chandler I don't see how he would fit in....maybe at PF?

Ha, I think it's just a mistake. (I live in Toronto, fwiw.)

I think the Suns should move MM, but I do hope they can finesse it a bit. Everyone knows they're in a weak position to deal, but at the same time, wannabe contenders or fringe teams may get a little more desperate that someone else will get him at the deadline. He's still an asset, and denying that asset to others may add a little more value to gaining it themselves. Dreaming is free, anyway...

Naw, they are not in a weak position. The team that is in the weakest position is the team that most needs to make a move.

The Raptors hava a window to compete and they have a hole at pf.
