President Barack Obama has the Florida Gators making the NCAA Tournament championship game in his 2025 bracket picks, which his office released Thursday morning.
Obama has made his bracket public since his first year in office, 2009, correctly picking North Carolina as the national champion. He also correctly picked UNC to win it all in 2017. The former president has Auburn, Duke, Florida and Tennessee in the Final Four this year, with Florida defeating Alabama to advance to the championship game against Duke.
Just because Obama picked three No. 1 seeds and one No. 2 seed to make the Final Four doesn't mean he lacks ball knowledge. While in office, Obama had a 64% success rate across eight years of picks, and he's riding with the SEC this year. Obama has No. 10 Arkansas beating No. 7 Kansas in the West, No. 10 Vanderbilt upsetting No. 7 Saint Mary's in the East and No. 9 Georgia taking down No. 8 Gonzaga in the Midwest.
In total, Obama has the SEC going 10-4 in the first round — one of those losses was Texas to Illinois, but Texas failed to advance to the Round of 64.
