If Knicks brass has read “Betaball,’’ there are enough red flags about coaching candidate Mark Jackson to stop a NASCAR race. The recently released book detailing the making of the Warriors dynasty painted a bleak picture of Jackson being too resistant to analytics, mismanaging his coaching staff, making an ill-timed, anti-gay remark and harboring a distant relationship with the Warriors’ front office, among other failings. “The deciding factor will be if he’s mellowed out a bit, if he learned from the situation where he can bend but not break,’’ Malinowski told The Post. Jackson, who hasn’t coached in the NBA since being fired in May 2014, will interview for the Knicks’ head-coaching job Wednesday in Los Angeles.
