me too :( The curse(s) live on. I think both teams made stupid mistakes that made them deserve to lose though...

WON'T WATCH IT!??

Are you guys nuts? This has the potential to be excellent baseball! So it isn't a cute story line, big deal! This is now about baseball. Two very different types of teams, different styles of baseball, both quite skilled - this should be great!

This series is won't be as exciting. The ratings won't be as good as the ALCS and NLCS.

Style wise... this is similar to the 1964 World Series that matched an aging Yankees team structured "classically".... with up and coming more athletic St. Louis Cardinals team that was based on speed and defense (and had Bob Gibson). The Marlins are actually much more talented than that Cardinals team, and I'm hopeful that their far more exciting brand of baseball prevails!

I agree, this World Series doesnt have the buzz that the Red Sox/Yankees had or the potential of having the Sox/Cubs match up.

Oh well... as long as the Yankees don't win I will be happy.

The new All-Star Game policy has already affected the Series. Because the AL won the All-Star Game, the Yankees have home-field advantage. Without the policy, it was the NL's turn.

I'll be watching. Love to root against the Yankees and the Florida Marlins have never lost a playoff series. Should be interesting.

Well that's right, Dusty Baker's summer managing affected the Cubs' young aces stamina in Games 6 & 7 and it took away World Series Game 7.

However, the Marlins were able to rally from a 3 games to 1 deficit despite lacking a similar HFA and being 5 outs away from elimination in game 6. Game Seven in Wrigley witnessed see-saw changes that defied a HFA curse.

Losers make excuses, winners make plays.
