They can't cut McAddley this week. They only have 3 WR's available and he's one of them.

I think that Mac said last week that J. Mac has a heel (ankle?) injury that is going to require surgery at the end of the season. I took this to mean that he was IR-bound as soon as we found someone to take a roster spot. But in the paper this morning, it said that he would play. I'm confused.
If it's not McAddley, I hope it's Josh Scobey. Why is he still on the roster? 4 RBs?

I love the signing from a special teams POV, but I hate it if he's going to take touches away from Kasper. I also worry about his attitude. I gotta think he's going to hate every minute of being here and having to swallow his pride.
However, I love the signing if the only players it affects is Gilmore and McAddley. the only thing those guys have earned is my scorn.

Ok...now where's our help on D-Line and CB....
I am completely shocked...but...we need him on special teams. I just never thought the two sides would reconcile...I was completely wrong...
in addition to the recent injuries (not sure if any are serious) - mcaddley has that lingering anlke (or foot?) problem that could be operated on now...so he is a candidate for IR also...

I don't know how to feel about this signing.
Yes our st were retched last weekend, and martay is a great gunner.
But, his attitude might not be something we want to let back on.
Not to say he is a s.rice or anything, not even close, but he was a malcontent.
One plus was the fact that when he left he said he did it because he didn't want to be sulking. So he isn't that bad.
I remember seeing that cards commercial..you've all seen it too where mac goes "How 'bout this football team" in the locker room
I looked at Martay, and he was looking at the coach like what the f, this guy is looney or something...He just had a weird look on in face and in his eyes. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but when I saw that after he left, I used it as fuel to say good riddance. If you haven't noticed it, look the next time you see it.
On another note he might take away receptions from b.johnson, gilmore, kasper, and possibly boldin?
We do need more wr's if 3 can't play, and I do guess he is the best option because he's the only person who can probably come in and know some of the terminology or plays, and stuff like that (teammates,etc) even if sullivan is the new oc.
One thing for sure, he should be eating a helping of cardinal...err crow right about now. If he ever whines or becomes a malcontent we can strap him to the goal post and have james hodgins, leonard davis, and adrian wilson make a tackle dummy out of him...Then have josh mccown and jaff blake play throw the bullet pass.

Don't get me wrong, I like that we have him. He'll provide receiver depth and he is a top gunner in this league.
The problem is, I do NOT want him returning kicks for us. Returning one for a TD is great, but NOT at the cost of 3 or so fumbles.
I'd rather have Anderson returning kicks, thank you very much.
