I'm not sure what this brings to the the Big 10 besides big TV markets that are already dominated by pro sports. Both will be cellar dwellers in the Big 10.

Viewership doesn't matter. The B1G will get money for those cable subscribers regardless of if they watch or not. This is estimated to be a $100M boon to the conference.
