The Masters Par 3 Contest tees off at noon E.T. Wednesday, our first chance to enjoy some friendly competition at Augusta National Golf Club.

Played for the first time in 1960, the Par 3 Contest is always held on the par 3 course the day before the first round of the Masters. Among the many stats, no one has won the Par 3 Contest and gone on to win the Masters later that same week.

Who's playing in the 2025 Masters Par 3 Contest?

There are 91 players signed up for the fun. The Masters field had 95 players so just about everyone is hitting the short course Wednesday.

What are some interesting groups at the Par 3 Contest?

At 12 p.m. ET, Jose Maria Olazabal and Angel Cabrera get things started. Olazabal won two Masters (1994 and 1999) while Cabera won one (2009). This is Cabrera's first time back to Augusta National in six years after he spent time in prison.

The next group off is 12:07 p.m. ET with Max Homa, Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas. It was just six days ago that Homa split with long-time caddie Joe Greiner and about 12 hours after Thomas announced that he had picked up Greiner for this week to fill in for his regular loop, Matt Minister. Also, Homa and his wife announced on Tuesday they're expecting their second child.

The Hojgaard twins, Nicolai and Rasmus, are heading out with Justin Rose at 1:45 p.m. ET.

At 2:27 p.m. ET, Ben Crenshaw is going to play with a pair of amateurs, Hiroshi Tai and Noah Kent.

The final tee time is 4:12 p.m. ET and it's a single, Bryson DeChambeau, who put in some range time Tuesday, hitting 393 balls, which is about 150 more than anyone else.

Where to watch the Par 3 Contest

Coverage of the Par 3 Contest will start on four different live streaming services: ESPN+, Disney+ (for the first time), Masters.com and the official Masters App. Those feeds all start at 12 p.m. ET and go till 4 p.m. ET. Then ESPN takes over with exclusive TV coverage from 2 p.m. ET to 4 p.m. ET.
