I think BA missed the boat the other night. When it was mop up time, he should have sent Barkley out to take those last snaps. I don't know the rules for sure but all I'm familiar with is if you trot out your #3 QB, you're stuck with him unless he gets injured. Could BA have sent Barkley out there?

Barkley was inactive for the game. http://www.nfl.com/inactives

And the rule that put the 3rd QB in a special category as you describe, was removed before the 2011 season. Instead, the active roster was simply increased from 45 to 46 players.

Just cut him. He is useless.

Barkley was inactive.

BA should be punched in the face for not considering this scenario.................

My hope is he can improve his arm strength like Brady and Brees. Barkley has big hands and had good velocity on his balls before the shoulder issue.
