Cam played like a PF, which is nice to see. I don't think he's the longterm answer there but I think that will be a big help in keeping him in the rotation and on the floor for 25+ minutes a night. He's earned that time and is a solid scoring threat whenever he's out there.

Monty is a keeper. That is all.

Not going to take back your repeated nonsense about Booker wanting out? Not willing to give any credit to Cam Johnson?

Nah, obviously not. I'd put you on ignore but trashing your trollish hot takes makes it worth reading them.

Talking about surviving adversity. Suns figure out a way to win.

This might be the luckiest win I can remember.

Mavs choked more than we won.

I really think Booker and Ayton getting in foul trouble and leaving the game confused the Mavericks. And they never recovered.

Eddie was right though, Dallas didn’t have a lot of motivation to go for the tie. It was there for Doncic at the end and he passed it out.

it’s a coaching decision that worked in our favor, but Monty was phenomenal in this game. I don’t know if any coach we have had since Cotton that could game manage like that.

And I can only imagine what it would have been like had we Baynes and Oubre in the lineup.

Yeah. He had 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists.

Rick Carlisle is an old school coach that makes it a priority to defend the other teams best players. Its a good mentality but who do you defend when they are out?

Even ignoring that big three, Saric has had a solid game. I really hope he accepts being a bench player. I really think his future in the league is at Center. If paired up with another athletic big, he can be quite useful.

Mikal has received the most positive coverage since the Suns have been in the bubble but Saric deserves a lot of credit for how he's played also. He's looked like a different player. He's more comfortable out there now and has been aggressive inside on offense. His shot from the midrange and outside seems to be on as well.

This is the Dario I thought we were getting. I don't see it as a motivation thing so if he gets paid he should keep it up. It's just a matter of it taking him time to adjust to his teammates and surroundings. He turned it on in the 2nd half of last season with Minnesota also so I think this is who he is. If we keep him, he should be good from the start.

That's sure what it looked like. Feels good to get the win in a very unlikely scenario.

Booker still looks like he doesn't want to be here. His play has declined significantly in the bubble. I AM starting to get intrigued by Cam and am impressed by how he has looked the last couple of games. I still think Cam is no more than a role player off the bench, but I am coming around to seeing him as a legitimate NBA player. He is actually reminding me more and more of James Jones as a player. Of course James Jones as a player was also not worth a lottery pick, despite being a nice NBA role player.

Wow the foul discrepancy was ridiculous as well as some of the actual fouls themself.

who’s the unknown mav player running his mouth out there all the time.

The game had us on edge all night.

Yeah he's only averaging 28.5 ppg, which is 2 points higher than his season average, 4 rpg (his season average is 4.2), and 4 assists (6.5 is his average on the year) while shooting 44% from the field, which is just below his season average but matches his career average. He's clearly taken a step back and dropped off significantly.

You still think? This is the first time you've ever claimed that so I'm not sure how you still think he's no more than role player. All season you've complained about he's not an NBA level player and during the bubble you've only complained about how poor of a shooter he is, giving zero indication that you think he's even a role player.

The question is whether Book will click again in a Suns uniform, and whether Ayton will click anywhere.

See above for Booker, how is playing at his normal level this season not clicking?

I'm not sure why you insist on saying things that are so easy to prove incorrect. It's almost like you enjoy being proven wrong.

Book had an OK game considering he had 32 points but he was not good defensively and fouled out. Ayton was awful

Cam Johnson and Rubio were great tonight. We also had some help from the bench with Dario and payne
