I'm waiting and waiting for someone to create a thread on Hall, but that is not happening, i think it's time to make one.

1) His toughness and leadership, command of huddle and his ability to provide energy to everyone arround him is absolutely amazing. You can feel that everyone else plays better when he is in control. Since he came in against SD, you could feel it from the first pass attempt. That something "it". Our players follow him. Even defensive players come over to him with respect.

2) He plays risky just like Warner. I love that. No more protective defensive football that Leinart would have gave us. Attack is name of the game, take chances. There will be INT's, sure, just with Warner, but when everything is chemistry, an explosive offense will win you alot of games. Hall is not afraid to play football. Not even after all the hits he got, you still couldn't see fear in his eyes. Does that remind you of anyone? KW, yes. I get the sense that he would love to make a run at the endzone once again even after that huge hit he got. He plays with heart and for the team and that's why everyone likes him.

3) He makes an INT. Who cares. His confidence seems not to be impacted by a bad play, he seems to have short memory what that matters. Does that remind of anyone? KW, sure. He could throw 5 picks and he could go on and play like the game just started and nothing happened. Hall did that today.

4) I have to say it again, when scrambling, he does remind me of a Staubach or Young. He scrambles with no fear of contact, he is not the elusive type at all. I love that as well altough that might get him injured. But it is a weapon, since he is pocket first , scrambling second option type of QB.

5) Speaking of contact and hits, they didn't seem to shake him up, only made him better. Also reminds me of KW.

6) Coach Whis is the best in business to adjust. He may have some problems on the team, but the best coaches are the ones that know how to adjust and cover up mistakes in important games. Whenever we have an important game, we seem to do well. That¨s a general trend and it has not changed. We have outcoached the Saints for most of the game.

7) Even fumbling reminds me of Warner. He has ball security issues which he needs to fix. When he goes all in to run the ball, he needs to carry it like a RB.

8) Remember him getting out of balance after a bad snap? He adjusts and still gets the ball into Beanies hands somehow. Very small detail, but speaks alot.

9) Throw of the day? Well i have to name two - Both to Larry Fitz. 1st where he recognizes single coverage on Fitz, and places a VERY accurate pass over the CB. Second one where he recognizes zone on same side against Fitz, waits till there is room behind the LB and delivers a perfect throw. It is this throw that he couldn't make before against SD, but he makes it now. Again it shows that he is not afraid to play this game and depsite having troubles with the pass before, he still wants to make it. That's why his performance is special. He wasn't afraid of the throw and made it better this time.

10) This is one of the most memorable games to me as a Cardinals fan. Usually, it is hard to get me all excited, but this win is absolutely huge, and Hall did something very special, something that is very rare in this league for a rookie.

First 9 points were well said.

# 10 on 10-10-10 was very well said.

The Cards averaged 3.2 yards per play today and 1.7 ypc rushing so I'm not going ga ga over the offense just yet. But I will say this the kid is one tough SOB and maybe with Breaston and Doucet back after the bye week they'll actually be a reasonable facsimile of an offense..

Vegas, baby, yeah!
Hall's INT wasn't a really big deal to me. It was a rookie mistake. He probably made many of those passes at BYU.

Same with the scramble / fumble / TD - in college, absolutely you go for it with your feet. But the NFL is a bit faster, and he learned that.

I never saw the "saucers of fear" like I did with Warner or Leinart. That was great.

Very promising game for Max Hall.

He moved the chains on every drive. There wasn't a single three and out as i remember it. He did had problems the last 30 yards and getting it in the endzone. If he learns to finish off, and i'm sure he will, especially with all the WR's healthy, there will be plenty of points for Cardinals offense this season.

Good post Early. Max Hall had a good start. Lots to learn but I am betting he can do it.

I was curious, so I went back and looked. We had 3 3 & outs, not including Scud's taking the helm at the end of the second half.

That's pretty good for a rookie.

Great post, Early. We saw someone today who LOVED what he was doing. I think he even loved taking that hit and having his helmet come off. ('Course tomorrow morning...)

"Fire in the Eyes" Hall. It might just turn out to be one heck of a season after all.

I'm with you on a bunch of points but #4 I don't get at all? Warner got better after contact? For years the book on Kurt was get hits on him early and he'll get woozy and turn it over. He was a tough guy for sure, but he absolutely did not play well when he was getting hit consistently.
