No, you're not seeing double: There are two Max Muncys in MLB. Do we call them the Muncii?

There's the Los Angeles Dodgers Max Muncy, known for hitting lots of home runs. There's the Athletics' Max Muncy, who has played all of zero games for the big club entering 2025.

What might be confusing is the Dodgers' Max Muncy once played for the A's. And then there was that time in the minors that one Max Muncy had an error that allowed the other Max Muncy to score a run. What's more: THEY WERE BORN ON THE SAME DAY OF THE YEAR!

Got all that? Good. Let's dive in with a tale of the tape that compares the two Muncys (Muncii?):

Remember Maximum Muncy?

We do ... and we may be seeing the #Dodgers' Max Muncy vs. the #Athletics' Max Muncy again real soon ... in The Show: https://t.co/ARPfZhnnfzpic.twitter.com/ZDldNreo2D
