McCartney backs Barnett at Colorado

Bill McCartney, the retired ( or was it deposed ) ex coach of the Colorado Buffaloes came out in support of Gary Barnett at a reunion of sorts for ex Michigan FB coaches.

Now that is an endorsement that no one needs. Talk about the kiss of death.

McCartney left that program in one of the biggest stinks possible. Gary be gone.

My understanding, as to the reason he and the A.D. did not get fired is that, basically, the University is broke and can't afford the hit from the ensuing lawsuit, brought by Barnett, the resulting buyout, and the salary of a new coaching staff if they fired Barnett, AD, and assistants. That is real sad.

Maybe the co eds should boycott the U of Col until something is done.
