Didn't he look like he just received a death sentence?

Did Mac say 4 picks in top 55 or 75 . Whatever he said will clear up trade confusion.

maybe he was going to get some more food and said "I'll take seconds" and when he got back that's exactly what he got in the 1st round.

Who cares if you have 4 players in the top 70....You had two picks in the top 37.....

We have a guy termed BIGGEST BUST RISK in the draft in Pace.

We passed on hmmm Suggs, Letfwich, Trufant, Kennedy.

Then Boller, faine, joeseph....

I would rather have taken McGahee then Pace. McGahee has way more upside...and a better chance of suceeding.

I hope Mac didn't have anything to do with this draft. If I was him I would leave this sinking ship. Graves is going all out to make this an 0-16 team. I really can't see how this draft could get any worse. I am going to get really really drunk now and when I wake up this will have been just a nightmare and the draft will start over.

They kept saying we wanted more quality picks. Well then you need to make sure you pick QUALITY players. Which the cards did not.

Why give up #6, swap 37 for 54, and give away #102...for Pace?

It will be interesting to see who is available at 37. Suggs/leftwich/trufant and #37 vs. Pace and Johnson

We will get an F by everyone who grades the draft. The funny thing is that column after column was saying how this was a 13-15 player dfaft in terms of top tier quality. Yet the cards made the move anyway. Really smart.

So when is the pass rush going to be addressed. Pace is NOT who I would consider to be one who could be labeled as one that would adress our pass rush situation. Now what? A gem in later rounds? June 1st cut? How is our pass rush better?

Johnson? A reach, but he might turn out to be good. We replaced frank sanders here.....the sad thing is

We could have replaced swann/rice in suggs, had our 37 and 102 pick.

I look back at all the years we got "A"'s and "B"s in the draft by the experts and what did that get us? I'll let the season decide how good this draft was and not decide today. I honestly feel upgrades were made in positions they needed to be made.

Go Cards/ America!

Tim - It's not just a matter of upgrading positions with warm bodies - it has more to do with missed opportunities.

I'll concede that Johnson should help add depth to our WR group, though it's arguable as to whether he can even crack the lineup of McAddley, Gilmore and Kasper (and possibly Marcus Robinson).

Passing up Suggs for the privilege of reaching for a major questionmark in Pace borders on the criminal.

Still unaddressed are the need for a shutdown corner and run stuffer. "Upgrading" these positions with our #54 and #70 is questionable (we are moving into Fatafehi, Darwin Walker and Bell country).

Rod Graves asked us to be patient and wait til June 1 to evaluate his production. We've been patient. We are now only 35 days til June 1 when the reservoir of patience finally runs dry. I'm not real interested in hearing how the cup is half full just now.

Well we could have had Taylor Jacobs and Terrell Suggs had we kept our original picks....does anyone think that would be worse than Johnson/Pace?????

Who knows maybe Johnson would have been available there too? We have no idea how the rest of the 1st round would have fallen had we not drafted Johnson.

The Cardinals panicked and they cannot deny it.
