I gotta say pitting Hoffman and Streisand against DeNiro is absolutely genius casting. This is one sequel I'm actually pretty stoked to see.

It does not look like the same girl from the first movie? New chick?

I hope Owen Wilson's character makes an appearance in the sequel. I thought he was the funniest character in the original.

"So you're a Jew, huh? That's cool. JC was a Jew."

Can't wait to see this flick.

You can already see Fockers parents look like free-spirited hippies, and the other ones are tight-lipped, preppies...lol, should be hilarious.

Yes, the new chic is Teri Polo. Gwenyth Paltrow was in the "Meet the Parents."

You're confused. Gwenyth Paltrow's mom, Blythe Danner, is Teri Polo's mother in both movies.

Maybe he is confusing them from The Royal Tennebaums??? Most of all these people were in that flick too.

Meet the Fockers

Release Date: December 22, 2004
Studio: Universal Pictures
Director: Jay Roach
Screenwriter: Jim Herzfeld, Tim Rasmussen, Vince DiMeglio
Genre: Comedy
Website: Meet the Fockers

Starring: Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Dustin Hoffman, Barbra Streisand, Teri Polo, Blythe Danner

Plot Summary: Now that Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) is "in" with his soon-to-be in-laws, Jack (Robert De Niro) and Dina (Blythe Danner) Byrnes, it looks like smooth sailing for him and his fiancée, Pam (Terri Polo). But that's before Pam's parents meet Greg's parents, Bernie and Roz Focker (Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand). The hyper-relaxed Fockers and the tightly-wound Byrneses are woefully mismatched from the start, and no matter how hard Greg and Pam try, there is just no bringing their families together-which all adds up to a disastrously funny time of "getting to know you."

Good movie but felt they stretched the end out too long. Th elast 30 minutes was not really funny.

And DiNero's character changed in a blink of an eye at the end.

Seems like they didnt have the ending thought out as they shot it.

But good movie overall.

wow you have everything backwards as usual. We usually make fun of the ones Shane likes. Only because he likes everything.

Funny movie, not as funny as the first one, and a little more dirty...(even though I laughed, the baby doing the boob grabbing was a little disturbing)...but overall, pretty funny.

Hoffman was great...

Both my gf and me absolutely loved this movie. We both thought it was funnier than the 1st one. There was a group of old folks in front of us, I thought on several occasions that they were gonna go into cardiac arrest they were laughing so hard. It is definitely worth paying to see at the theatres, and buying the DVD when it's released.
