Where do I start ?? Melvin is the worst manger ever and I sometimes say this after wins. The guy changes the line up so much and makes so many questionable decisions it surprises me he still is a HC.

Next the bullpen is horrible. It seems like every night we give up a extra 1-2 runs in the 8th or 9th. Quales, Slaten, Lyons, they are all the same and not one of them has good stuff. I just do not see anything dominating with there pitches.

Just wanted to blow off steam

What if Dilbert's company bought the Diamondbacks?

If Dilbert's company bought the Diamondbacks, would this be their first executive meeting?

The worst manager ever has spent all but four days in first place. The bullpen allowed three earned runs in twelve innings in the St. Louis series and this is a bad thing? Who's Quales? Who's Lyons? :mulli:

But Fortunately they D-backs are playing in the worst division in the league. Any other division and the D-backs do not make the playoffs. The bullpen and Mark Reynolds are driving me nuts. Mark Reynolds can't make contact with the ball if his life depended on it.

I put that one on Melvin. Mark is hitting over .300 with runners on and under .200 with the bases empty. With those numbers, be should be hitting 4th. Next, he has not had anyone hitting behind him all year and for a guy that swings at everything and doe not have the bat speed to hit anything above his belt, he needs Dunn behind him since Dunn will take pitches. Again, I put that on Melvin. Here is my linup to get Mark protections and more men on for him. They will pitch to him if Dunn is behind him since he will not feel as if he needs to swing at everything with no one hitting behind him.

1 Drew
2 Jackson
3 Reynolds
4 Dunn
5 Snyder
6 Eckstien
7 Young
8 Upton/Tracy

Just my 2 cents

Batting Reynolds ahead of Dunn makes alot of sense. The same as when Roger Maris (a .250's hitter) batted ahead of Mantle.

Maris was the first to break Babe Ruth's HR record with 61 and Mantle hit 54.

But now, Dunn (who Melvin said would be his cleanup hitter every game for the rest of the season) is batting third.

And Conor Jackson, who was moved out of cleanup to take pressure off him, is now back at cleanup.

Sporadic desperate acts by a sporadic desperate manager.

And Chris Young, who needs stability to develop, is all over the batting order -- 6th, 2nd, 8th, 5th. Yes, I've brought it up before. But this is the time of the season when the lineup should be intact. This is not the time to experiment.
