Memphis loses leading scorer for 5 weeks (AP)

Memphis forward Wesley Witherspoon, the team's leading scorer, is expected to miss five weeks after having surgery for a right knee cartilage tear. Tigers coach Josh Pastner says Witherspoon was undergoing arthroscopic surgery Friday on his right knee meniscus. Witherspoon will undergo rehabilitation during the next five weeks.
