After watching much video of Mendenhall, he is very similar to JJ Arrington in that he can take it to the house if he is untouched, but the guy goes straight to the ground if he is touched. If the Cards draft him they will be sorry. Stewart is the guy if they even feel the need to draft a RB in rd 1. If not, go defense and pick up a RB in a later round.

I know you have a right to your own opinion. But you are wrong.

And BTW to belittle one prospect to make another seem better than the other is very lame. Especially if there is a chance of us drafting one of them.

Sorry I saw the USC game. Mendenhall was a one man gang in that game. The Illini were over-matched. Rashard Mendenhall was NOT.

completely disagree. Mendenhall is a physicaly runner with a knack for breaking tackles. I'm not saying he's the next Terrell Davis, but he is nowhere near as easy to tackle as Arrington. This comparison is hilarious.

I get the same feeling after watching him too. A lot of his big runs he is untouched. His running style does resemble JJ a lot when he was at CAL. I hope we don't pick him.

Mendenhall is terrible and yes he is a pansy. That is precisely why he will be wearing Cardinals red tomorrow. Another year, another bust.

That makes absolutely no sense. I could care less if Stewart or Mendenhall play for AZ. IMO Stewart is the better back, and he would fit AZ's long term needs. I feel Mendenhall would be a decent back on a great team and a disappointment on a team like AZ with so many holes.

Hahaha. The only thing you can do to make a case for Mendencrap is to crack the Yankees, the greatest American sports franchise, and to cut and paste some stupid pic? You are well on your way to joining abomb's ASFN good ole boys network.

Me too.
Otherwise - ultimate frontrunning, bandwagon jumping, lack of integrity "fan" there is. Unfortunately, PHX is full of people like this - "I've lived in Dallas, Detroit, LA, and NY" - so why not a Texas Rangers, Lions, Clippers, or NY Rangers fan?

i would much rather go defense in the first round, but i think rashard is a stud. that being said teh combo of jenkins/cromartie/mckelvin with chris johnson in the second would be sick. chris johnson is def. not a panzy. that guy is ridiculous.

I like Stewart more, but I think that Mendenhall will be a fine back. I think he's being overrated as a "power runner" on this board. He's not Steven Jackson or Jamal Lewis. I think he'd excel in a zone blocking scheme, because he does hit holes hard and fast.

I think that Mendenhall is well overrated for his power, and I think that Jonathan Stewart is a much more powerful runner than anyone is giving him credit for. I think that Stewart is a better fit for our system, because he's used to using pulling linemen to set up his blocks.

Oregon had an excellent offensive line last year.

I just want to be accepted by the ASFN Good Ole Boys Network. I've posted on here for years, supporting the local teams, but somehow I just can't gain the acceptance of the Good Ole Boys. So, I hate those teams, but out of fear of getting banned or rediculed by gangsters like abomb, I have chosen to band together with them in their bandwagon ways. I want to be accepted by this group of bandwagoners, because for some unknown reason, their Suns hate and Lakers love is not only accepted, but encouraged and EMBRACED on here while others are ridiculed and ganged up on.

And Mendenhall still sucks.
