"I Didn't like him coming out of college... I thought he was inaccurate."

How the hell does this clown have a job?? It's not that hard to look up some stats on a player, Merril.

Leinart finished his college career 807/1245 (64.8%) for 10,693 yards and 99 touchdowns with just 23 interceptions. He is USC's all-time leader in career touchdown passes and completion percentage, and is second at USC behind Palmer in completions and yardage. He averaged nearly 8.6 yards per attempt, and averaged only one interception every 54 attempts. He was 37-2 as a starter.

This isn't the first time he's made anti-Matty comments. Remember prior to the 07 draft?

"I think that Kellen Clemens is better than Matt Leinart"

Die.

Ever since the year Leinart was drafted he was/has been hating on the first round QB's all of them but Cutler and Kellen Clemens.

The dude is clueless.

He has dirty photos of the people who run ESPN.

Thats the only reason I can come with. He is the worse on there. I demand Warren Sapp be put in for Hodge! heh

Hodge does have one of the funniest stories about crapping himself in a game after he got hit so hard.

I think the one thing that may be overlooked is that Leinart played with supreme talent, which can help hide flaws. I've not seen enough of his college games to rate one way or another, but I'm not likely to write off the commentary of a paid professional just because I'm not interested in his message (by the way, Matt rocks and Hodge can eat poo).

I still have no idea about how good or bad Leinart is. I would think that after this season we will know just what we have. This of course is if he stays healthy. He could be our QB of the future or just another big name college QB that could not make it in the NFL. I sure thought we were lucky to get him when we drafted him but things so far have not been good for him or us. We do not know even today what we have. We do have great receivers so he has great guys to throw to. Our running game is also in question which can make or break a QB. We can only hope James stays healthy because after him we are very thin and have not done much to improve an obvious need. James at his age cannot carry the ball 30 times a game. JJ is JJ. After that comes a rookie who could have a lot to say about how this team does this year. He will also have a lot to say about how our QB's fare. As the old saying goes if you cannot run you cannot pass. Every team that contends must have at least a credible running threat. Our goal should be at least to be better than last years 8-8. It would be nice to go 10-6 but realistically 9-7 will work for me. Yes I would like to win 10-11 games but I would not put my money on it.

The major odds makers have us at 50-1 to win the super bowl. One has us at 30-1. Those type odds to me indicate we are better than I think we are. Odds makers at Bogdoglife have us at 9-4 to win the west. The biggest thing for us this year will be Matt Leinart and whether he is the QB of the future. If he is not then what????? Kurt probably has two more years left in him and will not embarrass you. Once again the experts say we are an improving and up and coming team. How many times have we all heard that. Would it be great or what to start off with 2-3 victories in a row? When did that happen last?

I've never cared much for hodge either. let's not forget this is the same guy that thought Pittsburgh was a better team than the patriots last year. and that was midseason when the pats were completely untouchable.

speaking foolish analysts. that maylock guy. it was funny watching jamie dukes show clips of mcfadden in his debut raiders performance. as he showed each carry he was sure to mention I love the way darren continues to move his feet after contact and push the pile forward. remember maylock said reggie bush would be the best thing since sliced bread(despite the fact that he wasn't an inside runner). but mcfadden isn't a top 5 pick because he tries to bounce outside too often.
