Meryl Streep's Best Performance

I realized no females, so I'll kick off the category with Meryl Streep. Now I have to admit, I often find her a bit irritating -- but then I see her in something like Sophie's Choice and realize she really is an amazing actress.

Going with Postcards from the Edge. Although she was spectacular in Deer Hunter and Adaptation.

I’ve only seen a couple of those. I went with Adaptation.
