John Maine returned from an odd injury to pitch into the seventh inning, and the New York Mets beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-3 Wednesday to complete their best homestand in more than 20 years. Angel Pagan had a two-run triple, helping the Mets beat the Dodgers for the third time in less than 24 hours and extend their winning streak to seven.
