Jacob deGrom and Noah Syndergaard are not on the trading block yet, but new New York Mets general manager Brodie Van Wagenen is not against the idea of moving either starter. DeGrom is coming off a season where he set the MLB record for the most consecutive starts allowing three earned runs or fewer. Syndergaard has dealt with injury issues each of the last two seasons, but he is also under team control for a good amount of time, as he cannot become a free agent until 2022.
