While Jacob deGrom actually had to pitch out of bases loaded jam in the 4th inning, it proved to be a mere distraction as he struck out 11 Padres over 7 innings in a 4-0 Mets win. He now has a 0.62 ERA through his first 9 starts, the lowest in MLB history. Jose Peraza and Francisco Lindor both homered for the Amazin's.
