MIAMI GARDENS — Miami Dolphins general manager Chris Grier met with reporters Tuesday and addressed the latest on receiver Tyreek Hill.
Grier was asked if the Dolphins are considering trading Hill.
“That is not anything that we’re pursuing,” Grier said. “If someone wants to come and give me two first-rounders, we’ll consider it.”
Asked about last week’s incident in which Hill’s mother-in-law called 911 concerned about her daughter’s safety, Grier wouldn’t comment, instead referring to the club’s statement released when the news broke.
Grier said Hill has been in the building nearly every day during the offseason.
"He's been working and doing all the things to show his teammates this is where he wants to be," Grier said. "He's been great. Things happen with players."
Grier said he's "very optimistic" about Hill moving forward.
Asked about the team's culture, Grier said it has been reshaped under coach Mike McDaniel.
“We feel good where it is," Grier said. " … It’s a steady way of doing it the way we want it done.”
