What a little bit**. I lost respect for Wade. It comes with the team you guys set up in Miami. Stop whining about it and beat an actual real team and not the New Jersey Nets every time you face them.

I meant to highlight this interesting quote from the article as well.

What's more important is this astonishing lack of clutch play from Miami's troika of LeBron James, Wade and Bosh.

All three had exemplary clutch statistics in the seasons leading up to 2010-11, but in shots taken with less than 10 seconds to go in the fourth quarter or overtime, with Miami trailing by three or fewer points, the Heat have gone 1 for 18 this season.

A falloff like that is remarkable and just about unprecedented in recent NBA history.

I saw the Wade comment on TV and it looks like he may have been one of the players that cried. his comments too were childish, his selective memory forgot how they were rubbing it in with their rock-star introductions.
I hope they continue to suck and implode.

At least if players cry after losing they care about how they play. I would rather have this than players joking around after a loss. However, I'm glad the Heat are getting a dose of reality.

This has even greater implications. Perhaps this will eliminate the mindsets among the league, some teams and superstar players, before it had a chance to take over the NBA.

That the league can choose which teams to hype all season long.

That some teams can buy championships, using ballplayers to lure other ballplayers.

That a group of players from three teams can go all the way by conniving to get together.

It is a nice thought but I think it is wishful thinking. Stars have always ruled the NBA.

I think they Lebron took his crying talents to South Beach as well. Looks like the forecast for the next few months in Miami calls for a lot of rain!

You're right! But LeBron's performance up to, and now including, the season will hopefully make it more difficult.

It was so outrageous, it was either going to work and shut up the critics (make that the world) or it was going to fail and, hopefully, attract less outrageous behavior for awhile.

It seems like their terrible numbers in late game situations has to be the coach's fault.

I think Wade should request a trade to the Suns this summer.

Heh. But it won't surprise me if Bosh goes on the block in the next year or so. The Heat won't commit to him as higher than the third option, so they're overpaying him for what he brings to the table.

Look for the fans at the next Heat road game to be throwing Kleenix.

Could be huge marketing opportunity.

But in all seriousness, it was so stupid for the Coach to unnecessarily share this.

Maybe they would trade us DWade for Steve Nash in the off-season. Especially since they don't seem to want to use Wade in crunch time.

I am not sure how well Nash and James would work together. From our perspective, I would love that trade (Hell, include a draft pick, and a couple other players), but I don't see Miami going for that.

In a van...down by the river.
Spoelstra should get canned for feeding this "my players are crying in there" comment to the press.
You just dont do that. Some more intelligent options are..... my guys are:
"tore up"
"crushed"
"deflated"
"upset"
"emotionally distraught"
etc...

What a cataclysmic goof on his part. IMO the clock is ticking for this guy now....is Riley lurking?

He's been lurking all season but I think Dwayne Wade would rather take his turn with Lebron's mother than have to play for Riley again. You're right about Spoelstra though, he should have found a better way to tell the world his guys were hurting. I think some people are making way too much of it but there was no reason to give them this opportunity.

Watching Heat lose is EXACTLY what I was waiting... such great drama!

I was in doubt when Lebron wants to join Wade because both of them want the ball in their hands.

Not sure why Bosh hasn't produced more. I have a feeling it's because Wade and Lebron have the ball too much and they lack plays for Bosh.

At 6'10 - 235, are Chris Bosh's stats -- 18.6 PPG, 49.8 shooting percentage and 8.1 RPG less than you'd expect?

He is to James and Wade what Pippin was to Jordan.
