‘Men in Black’, ‘Jump Street’ Crossover Movie Is Happening! Official Title Revealed

http://movieweb.com/mib-23-men-in-black-jump-street-crossover-title/

Back in March, we reported that the long-rumored Men In Black and 21 Jump Street crossover was moving forward, as the studio entered negotiations with James Bobin (Alice Through the Looking Glass) to direct. While there is still much we don't know about the project, Sony Pictures made the it official tonight during their CinemaCon presentation, unveiling the new title MIB 23, along with the official logo, which you can see below. Unfortunately, the studio wouldn't confirm any other details at this time, but hopefully we'll know more about this project soon.

We first heard about this project back in December 2014, through leaked emails from the massive Sony hack. Sony chief Amy Pascal revealed in these emails that Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum's Schmidt and Jenko characters from 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street will team-up and interact with characters from the Men In Black universe. Those emails also made it clear that Men In Black franchise stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones would not be part of the project.

Oh boy. Where do they come up with this crap? It's just so hard to imagine people sitting around a table and pulling out of thin air......"you know what would be cool? A 21 Jump Street/MIB crossover".

I hoped Will Smith and TLJ laugh this idea off and have nothing to do with it which appears to have happened. So is it really MIB without them?

Sony needs a serious enema in their film division.

if lord and miller were writing/directing this again, I'd be all for it because they have been pretty spot on with everything they've touched, especially the Jump Street movies and making those movies incredibly satirical of hollywood in general while being really funny. They could have done the same thing with the crossover thing, but I don't have the same faith anyone else can pull this off like they could.

I sincerely hope this is just a big hoax.
Unfortunately not..

Nothing

Yes they do. Now that they've released Spidey back to Marvel - somewhat - they're hell bent on destroying MIB. Sony is suffering a long, slow, painful demise.
