He wasn't in Ann Arbor for a long time, but he was there for a good time.
While Vlad Goldin was the poster child for Michigan basketball and Dusty May in the transfer portal, perhaps the fan favorite of those who came to Ann Arbor this past year was none other than former Yale center Danny Wolf, who really shined especially in the postseason. The center was of the do-it-all variety, able to facilitate and shoot just as much as he could play down low.
Though he has another year of eligibility, Wolf was expected to enter the NBA draft. And those predictions ended up being prescient as he did exactly that on Wednesday morning.
It's unclear whether or not Wolf will be hiring an agent, which would preclude him from a return. However, regardless, it's unlikely that he will be returning as he is expected to be a top draft pick once the NBA gets a better look at him. Additionally, his post does in fact read as a goodbye.
The Wolverines added multiple players via the transfer portal, including North Carolina guard Elliot Cadeau, Illinois forward Morez Johnson Jr., UAB forward Yaxel Lendeborg, and UCLA center Aday Mara.
