Michigan Sports Writers Division 4 girls all-state basketball teams

We're on to the girls now.

Boys basketball all-state teams from the Michigan Sports Writers were released throughout last week and now we've reached the release of the first girls all-state group with Division 4.

For the second straight year, Mio's Mia McGregor was named the Division 4 Player of the Year. Only a sophomore, she averaged 41.2 points a game last season and 38 points this season.

Ewen Trout Creek, who upset No. 1 ranked St. Ignace on their way to a title game run, had head coach Jacky Besonen earn the Coach of the Year honor.
