I am looking for something to do to prove that I know Microsoft Excel pretty well. I want some kind of certification program that I can put on my resume.

What do you guys suggest? I may be able to get a grant for it, so expensive choices may actually be an option.

I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks!

You might be able to just take a test and get your certification without taking a class. I'm not sure. I know you can do it for other languages. Just do a google search.

What about Access? Anybody an Access pro around here? I've got a couple of questions about data entry --things that I know I can do in Excel don't seem to translate to Access such as auto fill. I'm wondering if there's a way to do that...

Any new ideas on where to either get training or certifications in Excel?

I need to fill my training hours this quarter and would like to do something interesting.

For $100 I will make a certificate that says "25 training hours successfully completed". For $200 I will change the certificate to say "50 training hours successfully completed" AND I will put some kind of gold foil sticker on it.

I'm in if you're willing to "host" the "training" in a fun city far from here, so that I can get reimbursed for travel expenses, too.
