Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera celebrated his 35th birthday by going 2-for-4 with a home run, two hits, an RBI Wednesday. But he also missed teammate Dixon Machado’s first home run of the season, which happened to be a walk-off shot to end the game. The temperature was in the 30’s at Comerica Park and Machado was at the dish in a 5-5 tie in the bottom of the ninth inning against the Baltimore Orioles.
