Montero, who recently had an 18-game hitting streak, is having the best all-around year of any catcher in the National League. He leads in RBIs, hits, extra-base hits, runs, plate appearances, total bases and innings caught and is hitting a second-best .281 He has thrown out almost 36 percent of runners trying to steal, best in the majors among starters

Yes, it is a good article. The photo the Republic used of Miguel captured his personality well. I smiled when I saw it.

When he comes back, move over Buster Posey. There is a new #1 cleanup-hitting Catcher on the block.

I think he is the best all-around catcher in the NL right now, maybe in all of baseball.
