Not that I think Bud did a great job. He didn't. However, this roster construction wasn't his fault. The trades made before he got here wasn't his fault. If I compare the Suns FO and the coaching issues? Bud is a distant 2nd.

I don't really know who the viable coaching candidates are but it's very concerning that the position has become a complete turnstile annually at this point.
Also the same reasoning is attached for the last 2/3 firings (being bad fits, chemistry, etc), which is a terrible look on the ones doing tbe hirings to begin with.

With all that said, I sure would like to apply for the position knowing that I'll probably be let go in a year and still get about 40mil afterwards.

I am going to be majorly disappointing if James Jones is still the GM of this team after all of this.

I thought the Suns should have hired an interim head coach from the assistants to see if they could salvage the season.

Also, they would have better known which players to keep.

Jones has to go as well. But more importantly, Ishbia needs to bring in a competent GM and not get involved with basketball operations.

Gambo is saying another change is coming to the Suns front office. He said James Jones isn't getting fired but a change is coming. That might mean James is losing one of his titles. He is President of Basketball Operations and General Manager. I bet he loses one of them.

Yep the common denominators in this fiasco of an organization has been Jones and Booker. But just hire another scapegoat, that'll work!

This is where I have been all season. Again, I don't think Bud did a great job but I have been asking all season when do we hold the players accountable and the front office who constructed the roster.

But there are some glaring questions, like why did he sit Dunn? Why did the rotations vary so much from month to month? It seemed like sabotage at times.

There are huge flaws on the roster but some of these questions are left to be unanswered.
