I don't know. Do your own homework. How many 2009 ALL PROs were put in a dress by one-legged tight ends in Divisional Championship games?

Adrian "the cross dresser" Wilson
First team All Pro SS.
2 - sacks
5 - int.
13 pdef

The "talking heads" on the NFL Network ranked him in the top five.

Okay... how does this change his play in the Divisional Championship game and against Chicago?

So you want to dwell on two games, and some of us believe the body of work over the course of the season is a better guage of his ability.

Lets look at some of those games:

9/13 v. San Francisco: 4 tackles, 0 sacks, 0 INTs. Thanks for showing up, Adrian.
9/27 v. Indy: 2 tackles, 0 passes defensed.
10/11 v. Houston: 5 tackles, 0 passes defensed.
11/1 v. Carolina: 4 tackles, 0 passes defensed.
11/29 @ Titans: 3 tackles. I bet we could have used a big play in that last drive.

Of course, we could just gauge his performance against how he played against the big dogs: St. Louis, Seattle, Detroit, and the other marquee teams in the NFL.

I have to agree. I think Wilson is rated high by fans because he doesn't make waves but does make big hits. Wilson made his rep with his crushing tackles and the one season he had 8 sacks not his pass coverage skills.

He really has not been a big time playmaker for the Cards the last couple of years. I think part of the drop off was recovering from his heel injury in 2007 as '09 was better than '08. Hopefully that is the case and we'll see a big time season again out of AW.

There's no need to get snippy. The question was rhetorical. Of course every other ALL PRO was considered a blue chip player.

Very interesting.
