I say sign him now. I have to watch him play every week and the guy is a monster. He lays people out. He got cut because of money and an overload at the position not because he is bad or anything like that. People in N.E love this guy. I hope he can wear a cardinal jersey soon.

Another player we dont need!

Who would you sit in order to play him?

We have the youngest most talented safety tandem in the entire NFL as good as a player that he is this is one team that definately does not need him!

Say wilson goes down whos behind him? No one. Lucas is hurt and we would have no one to fill the spot. I think he could be a great extra back. I think he can play a little corner. A great guy for depth. We will be dead meat if wilson or jackson go down.

Pro Bowl safety Lawyer Milloy will sign somewhere that hes going to play not here and take a back-up role that I can assure you.

Lawyer Milloyy while a great player is not the type of athlete that can play CB as well. By the way Lucas is a very good player too if one of our Safetys get hurt we will be ok!

HELLO! did you not watch the last pre-season game? Did you not see lucas go down? He hurt his neck and will be out for a little while. Even though it is not as bad as orginally thought he is still hurt. BTW the pats were trying milloy as a nickel back in practice.

You sign Milloy & play Milloy & Jackson at safeties and Move Adrian Wilson to corner......... your best players on the field........I know it's out of position but the guy is capable of doing it and at this point it could be potentially the best secondary in football

Really where did you read that he would be out for "awhile"

Mrospi,

You dont move players out of position. He is best suited at SS and thats where he should play. Doing crap like that ruins careers. Adrian Wilson may be an "ok CB" but he will be an All Pro SS!

Lucas is supposed to take a test today to see if he is completely healed. He could be playing this Sunday.

Who the heck are the Cardinals all of a sudden that they can't use someone like Lawyer Milloy? Signing him and Marco Coleman would upgrade this team. And I have no problem with having Wilson play Cb and Milloy at safety. If BIG can play guard when he's been a LT all these years Wilson can play CB. Why are guys like Milloy and Coleman good enough to play with other teams and no us?

It should be about getting the best players on the field.... I would contend Adrian Wilson at CB is probably better than Hill.... I like Hill but he's a nickel back more than the starter.... and If Milloy is signed and put at Safety.... you don't lose anything at that position..... and this adds depth back to the team.....

Cons: 1. We got 2 great safties! , 2. He is expensive!

Pros: 1. The guy can flat out play!, 2. He would help the depth at DB!

Question: Can, or would Wilson, Jackson, or Milloy play cornerback!

Doubtfull! But it is hard not to look at a such a great player!

Peace:thumbup:

Milloy is not the athlete that Wilson is no matter how good he is.

Secondly your forgetting the main thing here. Wilson neither wants nor desires to play CB! He knows that his best chance for a pro-bowl and being a star in this league is at safety. He has personally stated that he has no desire to play CB and that he wants to stay at Safety. So forcing him to move could affect his attitude and his work ethic. You dont just start moving players out of position especially ones they excel at thats just plain silly!

Agreed! 100%

Plus Milloy is 29. Not that old but he is getting more in the Twilight of his career.

If I was running the show I would sign him. Just because the guy could play. I would worry about what to do with him once he got here.

Peace

Wilson did regress last year didn't he? Is it possible that Milloy is better than WIlson at this point, or has Adrian shown enough this preseason that he is an unquestioned starter?

You can never have too many good players, and I will never buy into this crap that signing a good player at ANY position wil ultimately hurt the team.

If he was cut he has to go through waivers right? So bring him in, I mean at the very WORST he is excellent depth or possibly even traid bait.

Shouldnt wilson think more about the team than himslef? I thought that is what mac wanted. Less of the personal achievements and more of the team achievements. Making the pro bowl should be in the back of his mind. Helping this team should be his #1 priority. If he dosent want to make changes in order to help the better of the team than what does that say about him as a person. I belive we have been moving players out of position all year especailly on the OL.

If he makes through waivers then a team surely wouldnt trade for hi when they could have had him for free.

Yes Wilson has looked that good this pre-season so he should be the unquestioned starter! You dont take a young budding star and stick him in a position he doesnt want to play. Lucas is a very good back-up. Plain and simply safety is a position we just have no need for!

Another ridiculous let's sign this guy post.

The Cardinals will not sign Milloy. No way they tie up that kind of money on the safety position. (Jackson, Wilson, Milloy) It would be a luxury to have the guy, but no way, no how. Ain't gonna happen.

Sure he should and Im sure if he was asked to he would move. But that doesnt mean that he wouldnt be unhappy about it. that doesnt mean it would make him regress in growth as a safety right when hes on the verge of looking like a star.

The guy is built to play safety. Thats where he belongs not playing out of position.
